Welcome at Le Brasseur !
Who are we?
Since October 2022 we (Dirande and René) have left the Netherlands behind us and the great adventure has begun. For years we have been saying that we would go to France to set up our own mini camping & bed and breakfast. After a year of searching we ended up in Allier, a part of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, located in the middle of France. The place where you can find us is called Saint-Caprais. The house is the former presbytery of the village with a nice big yard behind it which has a beautiful view on the beautiful landscape of the Pays de Tronçais and of course the Fôret de Tronçais.

Why our name?
The name “le Brasseur” is the translation of our family name “de Brouwer” in French. “Logements” is the French word for “accommodations” and they consist of 2 rooms and 5 bell-tents. The word “loisirs” stands for “leisure” and you can spend it here at your leisure in a restful, beautiful environment.
What else do we have to offer?
So in a quiet environment we found our place in the Allier. At 20 minutes from the freeway A71 (Paris) in the quiet village of Saint-Caprais. We offer an environment with mostly beautiful clean starry skies, where you can hear the silence.
We are a small lodging where you can enjoy a well-deserved vacation to the fullest. Reading a book in front of your own tent, lying under an umbrella by the pool, cooking in the kitchen under the stretch tent or enjoying a drink with other guests in the evening. All our accommodations are suitable for two people.
If you do want to do something, then within half an hour there are enormous possibilities to fill a half-day or a day. Hiking, cycling, mountain biking, quaint medieval villages, castles and culture can all be found in the vicinity of Saint-Caprais.
Everyone within our accommodations can make their own food under the large stretch tent; there are 2 hotplates, a refrigerator, dishes and cutlery there for your use. With great regularity, Dirande will cook a simple 3-course dinner where you can sit on the terrace for a fee.
If all goes well, our pool will be ready in early June, so that everyone can enjoy a dip in our own pool in the summer.
Hospitality is our top priority. We hope you will have a nice vacation.
